At Metropolitan Obstetrics & Gynecology PA, we provide routine health exams and diagnosis of female disorders, as well as several surgical procedures to meet your needs. To ensure the best outcome in surgeries, the doctors bring their own team of nurses and technicians. Our practice is equipped with sophisticated diagnostic equipment, including our ultrasound use for obstetrical and gynecological applications, as well as a state-of-the-art DEXA scanner in our Maplewood office to measure bone density and total body fat/lean mass analysis. Our in-house certified nurse practitioners, ultrasound photographer, and other technicians are available to provide you with the best possible care in a convenient and private setting.

At Metropolitan Obstetrics & Gynecology PA, our purpose is to provide compassionate, courteous care using the latest technology for each of our patients. We first opened our doors in 1960 with one office in Saint Paul. Today we have four offices in Apple Valley, Maplewood, Lake Elmo, and Saint Paul. Always at the leading edge in our field, we were the first OB/GYN group in the Saint Paul area to have our own surgical nurses and technicians in the operating room, as well as the first to use OBGYN nurse practitioners.

Unlike most obstetrics and gynecology clinics that are owned by large organizations, Metropolitan Obstetrics & Gynecology PA is an independent practice. We have retained sole ownership of our practice for nearly half a century. This way we feel free to recommend what is best for the patient, not the corporation or the insurance company. We cherish our independence, and we intend to keep it that way.
